Fruit bearing trees serve as food reservoirs for mankind, Birds, bees, beetles and butterflies. Therefore we planted 50 saplings of Guava and Jamun (Nava pazham) fruit tree saplings. We have planted in the streets of kodambakkam households irrespective of class or community, for free, our men dug the pits, planted the saplings and the house owners promised to water and nurture it, we are confident these fruit trees would serve the perfect food for birds, bees, butterflies etc. This planting of 200 saplings is a pilot program, after a while we would propagate more and more. This is the joint efforts of Zerah foundations and Shabnam resources.
